I'm really like this kinda-sort-of-person when things go haywire. So after reading the tutorials pull some black cardboard cut a heart shape (it was the easiest shape for me, for those of you who don't know me i sucked in drawings and colors during my school days) then rush through my usual playground the rooftop... it really took me a couple of shots to get the hang of it. and i can say i'm starting to like this D.I.Y bokeh shot hope you love it too...enjoy!

i was playing with photoshop lately. and came across this action tool. for those who didn't know how this tool works, it records your workflow for what's your processing on... so that for the next picture you don't have to do all over again your processing but instead you just click the play button of the action tool and .... voila! it looks exactly the same as what you did from the previous one.. simple isn't it. anyway, i've created my own workflow for this one and recorded it. i called it the vintage effect. so here's the result of my own workflow... save as action on photoshop. i know it doesn't look good on my example. maybe, next time i'll try it on portrait shoots or daytime... enjoy!

been experimenting with other post processing style and lately i stumbled upon this DRI technique its like layer masking and blending it's helluva work but the output is worth it. so here's my try on DRI (digital range increase). this technique is almost same when your creating HDR in photomatix or any software you like but it's like more on doing it manually. instead of making the program doing the whole thing you are the one who makes control of everything so you have the whole idea of what you wanna achieve. sorry guys i forgot the site where i saw the tutorial i really want to share it... i do... but hey, just google it. anyway, have a pleasant day and enjoy!

here's my take on the little planet post processing style. for those who wants to achieve these kind of style. You have 2 simple choices. you can do it in Photoshop through polar coordinates or get the Dynamic Photo HDR software (i find this one very simple) after finishing your photo retouch go to process and edit and under the tab menu you can find little planets from there adjust at your own taste and be creative... enjoy!

Yesterday, I tried to unwind for a change i went back to the seaside where i shoot my seascape series. maybe, i was just in the right place at the right time when i saw this man standing near the coastline a composition pops out it's like a fish finding a food on a hook! I hurriedly grab my cam and shoot in AV mode @ f/8 metered the sea (was really hoping for low key, i did tried metering the sky but resulted to be over exposed) dialed my ISO to highlight tone priority @ 200, Auto white balance and fired in RAW. tweaked some levels in photoshop and applied bits of dodge & burn then added some text to have that magazine-look-feel. :) hope you guys like it. ... enjoy!

P.S. i use some filters ND4 & CPL marumi filters. :)
